'A gift of friendship'

One of my friends has a beautiful, lush garden, with lost of flowers greeting everyone who approaches their house. 

Last year, she gave me some poppy seeds that I planted in my garden. The friend moved to a different town, but the flowers are still with me, greetings visitors to my house instead.
